Choose your platform

AutomaDoc fills the same templates whichever platform the data comes from. What differs is where you open AutomaDoc, how you sign in, and what each platform asks before it lets AutomaDoc read your data.

Platform Where you use AutomaDoc Status Start here
Microsoft 365 Excel and Word add-ins, SharePoint lists, Dataverse, Power Automate Available Microsoft 365
Google Workspace The Google Sheets add-on Available Google Workspace
Lark The Base extension, and Lark Approval through the Company Portal Available Install AutomaDoc in Lark
Document API Your own systems, over HTTPS Available API-only accounts and the API reference
  • Templates. Word, Excel and PowerPoint files with {placeholders}, loops, conditions, filters, pictures, QR codes and barcodes. See Template syntax.
  • Output. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, or PNG for Word templates.
  • Your account. Plan, seats, document packs, members and API keys live in the Company Portal at company.automadoc.cc. See Plans, seats and packs.
  • Billing. Plans and packs are bought on our site through Paddle, never through Microsoft, Google or Lark.
  • Microsoft 365: a work or school account. Generating from the rows you select in Excel needs no extra permission; reading SharePoint, saving next to a workbook and unattended runs need your Microsoft 365 admin’s approval once. See Admin consent for Microsoft 365.
  • Google Workspace: a Google account. AutomaDoc asks only for the spreadsheets you choose and the files it creates, never your whole Drive.
  • Lark: your Lark admin installs AutomaDoc from the Lark App Directory. Editing a Base’s templates takes edit access to that Base.
  • Document API: an AutomaDoc account and a company API key. Any account can use the API, whichever way it signs in. For an account that uses nothing else, see API-only accounts.

An AutomaDoc account signs in with one platform: a Microsoft 365 organization, a Google Workspace domain, a Lark workspace, or email. A second sign-in platform cannot be linked to it. Personal addresses (Gmail, Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live) get an email account of their own.

Data is not tied to the sign-in. In any account, each person can connect Microsoft 365 data (Excel, SharePoint, Dataverse) or Google Sheets with their own Microsoft or Google sign-in, and every template uses the same plan, seats and packs, which belong to the account. See Sign in with Microsoft, Google or email and Connecting your data.
