Sign in with Microsoft, Google or email

The Company Portal at company.automadoc.cc is where your account’s plan, billing, people and connections live. Inside the Lark client it signs you in by itself. In a browser it shows a sign-in page with every way in:

  • Continue with Microsoft: your work or school account (Microsoft 365, Entra ID).
  • Continue with Google: your Google account.
  • Continue with Lark: your Lark account, in the browser. Open in Lark signs you in inside the Lark client instead.
  • Email me a sign-in link: any email address. You get a link and a 6-digit code; either one signs you in.

No password is ever set in AutomaDoc: each way in is your existing sign-in at Microsoft, Google, Lark, or your email inbox.

An AutomaDoc account signs in with exactly one platform, fixed when it is created. It is one of:

  • a Microsoft 365 organization (your Entra tenant);
  • a Google Workspace domain;
  • a Lark workspace (your Lark tenant);
  • an email account.

A second sign-in platform cannot be linked to an account. If your company uses Lark and Microsoft 365, its people sign in with one of them; the other platform’s data still comes in, as a data connection. Plan, seats, document packs and API keys belong to the account.

You sign in with You land in
Microsoft, work or school account The account of your Microsoft 365 organization. The first person to sign in creates it.
Google Workspace The account of your Workspace domain. The first person to sign in creates it.
Lark The account of your Lark workspace, exactly as in the extension.
A personal address: Gmail, Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live An email account of your own. It never joins a company’s account by its domain.
Email An email account of your own, or the account that invited you.

Organization accounts (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Lark): people from the same organization join automatically the first time they sign in, as members.

An admin can switch on approval for newcomers. From then on, someone from the organization who signs in for the first time does not get in straight away: they are listed as a request, and an admin approves or declines it. People already in the account are not affected.

Invitations work for every kind of account. On the People page an admin clicks Invite, enters the person’s address, chooses Member or Admin, and clicks Send invitation. An invitation approves someone in advance:

  • in an organization account, the invitee signs in with the account’s platform (Microsoft, Google or Lark) and must belong to its organization;
  • in an email account, the invitee signs in with the address that was invited.

The invitation works once and expires after 7 days; Resend invitation sends a new one and Withdraw cancels it. An account can send up to 20 invitations in 24 hours.

Email accounts are invite-only. Nobody joins one any other way, not even someone with an address at the same domain.

Admins buy plans and packs, assign seats, create API keys, and manage people. Who counts as an admin depends on the platform:

  • Lark: the AutomaDoc app’s admins in your Lark admin console, as always.
  • Microsoft: anyone with an Entra admin role (Global Administrator, Privileged Role Administrator, Application Administrator, Cloud Application Administrator), anyone your IT assigned the AutomaDoc.Admin role in Enterprise applications → AutomaDoc → Users and groups, and anyone an admin makes an admin on the People page.
  • Google Workspace: the first person from your domain, and anyone an admin makes an admin on the People page. A Workspace super admin can always take the account over, on the Connections page.
  • Email: the person who signed up, and anyone an admin makes an admin on the People page.

Everyone else is a member: they generate documents, connect their own data, and see who to ask (Only an admin can change the plan or buy add-ons. Ask …) where an admin sees the purchase buttons.

A browser session lasts while you use it. Microsoft and Google sessions are renewed through your Microsoft or Google sign-in every day, so someone your IT disables there is signed out of AutomaDoc within a day. Email sessions end 30 days after you signed in. Logout is in the menu under your name.

If an admin removes you on the People page, you are signed out at once.
